A socially inclusive society will be formed in Owenstown.

We will encourage a diverse range of homes for our future inhabitants from affordable homes to executive housing.

We will specify that all homes meet sustainability standards and houses will also be available from an on-site modular building factory.

Factory built modular homes have a number of advantages:

  • High energy efficiency standards with resultant low heating costs;
  • Construction activity on-site will be limited to the erection of the finished homes only taking a few days to assemble;
  • Ensures all weather working for construction workers at Owenstown;
  • Provides a ready market for a new modular building factory.
