Owenstown will be developed and operated by the Owenstown Co-operative Society Limited. This will be governed by Industrial & Provident Society Rules. The Society will be a non-profit distributing organisation.
In this way, all members can be shareholders. Membership will be offered to everyone living or working in Owenstown who is over 18 years of age. Representatives of organisations undertaking business in Owenstown can also become a member. Share purchase would cost £1.
